  DISTRICT NEWS
2003-2004 Rotaract Presidential Citation Award

This year, incoming Rotary International President Jonathan Majiyagbe is encouraging all Rotaract clubs to achieve the 2003-04 Rotaract Presidential   Citation. The purpose of the Presidential Citation is to increase Rotaract club involvement in service activities, while encouraging Rotaractors' personal involvement in serving others and promoting a high standard of Rotary service in   the community. Rotaractors may refer to the Rotary Presidential Citation Brochure for more information on this process. Clubs must submit the application form by 15 April 2004 to receive this honor. It is unclear if this award will continue past the 2003-04 Rotary year, as it will be up to the next President to decide if he wishes to continue this award. We encourage your club and district to participate.

2003-2004 Rotaract 3310 District Theme
District 3310 introduced its 2003-2004 District Theme as in "DARE TO EXCEL" in bringing out    the best in you, do the best and be the best!

Why "DARE TO EXCEL"? The word "EXCEL" means EXCELLENCE / OUTSHINE. When we    dare ourselves to excel, we must have a clear focus of what we are doing. As an    organisation, we must help each other as in:

DARE TO EXCEL in Membership Building
DARE TO EXCEL in Formation of New Rotaract Clubs
DARE TO EXCEL in Achieving 2003-2004 Rotaract Presidential Citation Award
DARE TO EXCEL in Your Community
